Another star cried black and died.
Imploded in and lost the ride.
The ride of dreams that stole the night.
The darkened tendrils hold it tight.
It withers away, destruct and bright.
Darkness now empowers the light.
I see the pain, it’s had its toll.
The abysmal space has provided a hole.
A hole of numbness and the unknown.
Somewhere that will never be shown.
So take my heart, the star that was.
It functions no more, it never does.
Instead of love confusion lives.
It suffers no more, for no more it gives.
I close my eyes and embrace the fear.
I’ll warn you when my black hole is near.
